Currently serving as the Industrial Policy Projects Co-Lead and Chair of the UBU Advisory. Amanda is actively involved in driving industrialisation on the African continent. Her dual role provides a unique vantage point, broadening her exposure to the challenges and opportunities presented by the African Continental Free Trade Area (AFCFTA). Her background in standardisation and conformity assessment, significantly strengthens the UBU Policy team, contributing to the development of technical quality infrastructure, crucial for successful industrial capacity building in emerging economies. Amanda is a driving force behind UBU’s initiatives, particularly in the automotive sector, where her leadership enhances the organisation’s commitment to advancing industrialisation across the continent.
